In this article im going to cover a few things you can do to how to make money blogging 2012. Not only will these tips provide you with a solid blogging platform but also a long-term business.

4 Tips on How To Make Money Blogging 2012

1. Update Your Blog Daily – When you first start out blogging online it’s a good idea to update your blog on a daily basis, especially if you want to how to make money blogging 2012. Posting daily will bring the Google spiders back to your blog on a regular basis and help with quicker indexing, plus Google loves new fresh content. If you post on a daily basis for just the first couple of months you will have a blog with lots of content and hopefully lots of traffic coming your way.

2. Keyword Research – This is probably the most important part of any new blog post, you must do your research first, i tend to target the long tail keywords with 4 or more words in them. Another good keyword suggestions is to use keywords with dates in, such as the title of this particular post, this makes ranking your post a lot easier. You could go for the more high search term keywords, but it will take a lot of time and effort to get good rankings. Long tail keywords bring in less traffic, but offer a much better stream over the long-term.

3. Social Media – This is crucial in terms of SEO and rankings in 2012, Google loves social media and you need to share your posts to Facebook, Twitter, Blogengage, StumbleUpon, Google+ and more. Also make sure you have sharing enabled to allow your readers to share your posts with their friends.

4. Promote Offers – Finally if your going to make money blogging in 2012 your going to need something to promote. Many bloggers use Google Ad-sense on their blogs as a way of monetizing it. You can also promote and review products related to your blogs niche using affiliate marketing with sites such as Clickbank.com. One method i like to use and find very effective is CPA (Cost Per Action), CPA pays you per lead or sign up in some cases, My preferred networks are MaxBounty and Peerfly.

In conclusion, being consistent is the key factor, people wont subscribe to blogs that only update once in a blue moon. Post daily for the first couple of months and establish yourself in the blogging community, then you could drop down to 3-4 posts per week if you wish.

Remember blogging is for the long-term, not a quick make money scheme, stick with it and you will reap the rewards.

Valuable content is, by far, the best way to create any money from a blog – if you are providing crappy content, nobody will really care about what you put forth to earn money. That’s the cool thing about being passionate about your niche – you can create the best content possible, enjoy doing it, and earn some money from it. Great post!

    Hey David,

By far blogging is the easiest way to make money online in my opinion.
Especially for a rookie who has no idea what direction to take.
There is so much garbage out there. Blogging is different.

    Thank you for the tips.
